I am a freelance poet, I write at my leisure. I am also a musician of sorts, I love music and I play guitar and sing. I don't practice NEARLY as often as I should so at this time I'm just a hobbyist. I write original compositions through GarageBand. I am also a lover of art and the female form.

Favourite photographer: Anyone can take photographs, the importance of the photo is in the eye of the beholder.
Favourite style of art: I love 2D art more than 3D, leaves more to the imagination. ;)
Operating System: Windows XP / Vista
MP3 player of choice: iPod but I don't use MP3s, they lose too much of the real sound.
Shell of choice: Back inside my shell, safe and alone...

Inspiration seems to come to you at night, just before you fall asleep in bed. After everything is shut down. So I stayed up a bit later and fired up my laptop to write what was in my head. OF COURSE: "Windows is configuring updates Stage 1 of 3 - 0%". 30 minutes later I was actually able to start shaking the ideas out. But damn it, they get jumbled and they change. I much prefer straight transcribing. Anyways, some new poetry coming up soon. Whenever I get some free time that's not filled with chores or winter preparation or people who want some of my time.

Divorcee

I've been officially divorced since April 12th. Been adjusting to that. Although, I've been alone since March of last year, so really the only thing that's changed is I'm no longer legally married.
Also, I will be getting roommates soon. I need the extra money and the company; living alone sucks.
More poetry ideas all the time, but I haven't found the time or the motivation to write. I may try to soon, as a few more of you out there have taken notice of my work. I may simplify my journal a bit. A huge journal can be no fun to read. :P

You're welcome. You earned it. I often feel like my work is...fake, constructed. It doesn't flow out of me like it used to. I recognize someone's who does.
Thank you that statement means alot... I'm glad that other people feel my work means something... because it means so much to me when I'm writing it.
